The college is affiliated to the Kerala University. The Younus College of Engineering & Technology recognized by Govt. of Kerala and approved by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi. The institute is committed to promote and propagate quality and value based education at par with international standards. The College is set to bring out competent quality engineers. Younus College of Engineering and Technology Admission Procedure

• Pass in Higher Secondary Examination or the equivalent Examination recognized by the University of Kerala with 50% marks in Mathematics separately and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Maths put together.
• Diploma in Engineering awarded by the Board of Technical Education, examination or Examinations recognized at least three years duration securing a minimum of 50% marks in Final Diploma Examination
• 50% of the total seats are filled up by the Govt. of Kerala and remaining 50% seats are Management Quota seats.
• 5% relaxation in marks for Muslim and others belonging to socially and educationally backward class students with family income not exceeding Rs.4.5 lakhs per annum is available.

Younus College of Engineering and Technology is situated at Manakkad Division in Kollam Municipal Corporation. The College is on the side of the Pallimukku – Ayathil Road, half a kilometer away from NH-47 and 4Kms. East of Kollam Junction.( Railway Station). The College is well served by city buses. The whole establishment is within a walkable distance from Pallimukku Junction of Kollam – Trivandrum National Highway. The nearest Air Port is Trivandrum, only 60 Kms. away from the College. The people coming from Trivandrum or Ernakulam by bus may alight at Pallimukku, just walk a short distance along the Pallimukku – Ayathil road where you would see the whole complex of Younus College of Engineering and Technology.
