NATA Exam 2017

National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) is conducted by National Institute of Advanced Studies in Architecture (NIASA) which is a body of Council of Architecture, New Delhi in India. The National Aptitude Test in Architecture is a national level examination for admission to undergraduate courses in Architecture. The test measures the aptitude of applicants for a specific field of study, i.e. Architecture, in areas like drawing and observation skills, sense of proportion, aesthetic sensitivity and critical thinking, qualities that have been acquired over a long period of time and that are related to Architecture. NATA or the AIEEE B.Arch exam are prescribed by the Council of Architecture as a compulsory criteria for taking admission to any Architectural College or course in India.

Eligibility

Academic Qualification-The candidates should completed either 10th or 12th standard with mathematics as compulsory subjects & minimum 50% aggregate marks.Diploma (3 years) Candidates after their 10th standard in central or state Government College with at minimum 50% marks are eligible.

Entrance Examination

National Aptitude Test in Architecture is an online examination examination consists of 2 parts namely drawing ability and Aesthetic sensitivity for 1 hour.

How To Apply

The applications can be downloaded online from www.nata.in. Till 2012 the fee structure for the examination was Rs 800. But there are many changes going on for various entrance examinations . The recent format of National Aptitude Test in Architecture will be updated in February in their official site i.e www.nata.in.
