The Government Engineering College, Kozhikode (GECK) was started by the Government of Kerala, India, in August 1999. Candidates For admission to the B.tech shall have required passed Higher Secondary Examination of State Board of Kerala Examination and other with 50% marks in Physics, maths and Chemistry. Candidates have to qualify the State Level Entrance Examination conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Examination
