Eligibility for B.Tech Admission :
- Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination Kerala or XII Pass
- Candidates are admitted based on the Common Entrance Examination conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Examination, Kerala State.
- 50% of the seats are treated as Merit Seat, 35% as Management Quota and 15% of the seats are reserved for NRIs Candidates

The College of Engineering, Thalassery is located at Kundoormala, Eranholi (West Ponniam) 6.5 km east of Thalassery town in Kannur (Cannanore) district. The college is situated on a hilltop with the Arabian Sea on one side and the Western Ghats on the other. The site is easily accessible by road. One can alight at the Thalassery bus stand and catch one of the frequent buses to Kuthuparamba and alight at West Ponniam.
