College of Engineering Perumon was established in the year 2000 under the Co-operative Academy of Professional Education (CAPE) Society. The society was formed to establish educational institutions to provide education and training, research and development, and consultancy. The college is affiliated to one of the most prestigious Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) and recognised by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) New Delhi. College of Engineering Perumon Admission Procedure

Eligibility for B.Tech Admission :

• Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination Kerala or XII Pass with a minimum of 50% marks for Mathematics as well as for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together.
• Candidates are admitted based on the Common Entrance Examination conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Examination, Kerala State.
• candidates belonging to socially and educationally backward classes required 45% marks.
• SC/ST students only a pass in the Higher Secondary examination (Class XII) with the above subjects
• 50% of the seats are treated as Merit Seat, 35% as Management Quota and 15% of the seats are reserved for NRIs Candidates

Eligibility for M.Tech Admission :

• Candidates with valid GATE score will be considered.
• Candidates must required 60% marks or percentage equivalent of GPA in BE/B.Tech in any discipline or AMIETE/AMIE or in MSc Physics with Electronics as special Subject or in MSc Mathematics .
• 75% Seats are treated as government Seats , 25% seats (4 Nos of seats) are reserved for eligible candidates from Educational / Research Institutions approved by AICTE/UGC/Govt/Universities and Sponsored candidates are not eligible

The College span of 25 acres of land as allotted by Govt. of Kerala on the banks of the Astamudi Lake, which is included in the tourism map of Kerala and an ideal place for the establishment of an Engineering College intended to acquire a deemed University status in due course. It is at Kuzhiyathu Junction along the Kollam – Perumon Road (via – Anchalummoodu) 12 kms away from Kollam Railway Station /Bus Stand via NH 47. The nearest Railway Station is Perinad at 1 km distance. The site is 90 kms from Thiruvananthapuram Airport (nearest airport).
