The College of Engineering Chengannur is established in 1993 under the aegis of IHRD and accredited by The National Board of Accredited(NBA) .It has been approved by All India Council For Technical Education New Delhi and Recognized by the Cochin University of Science and Technology.The College of Engineering Chengannur is a premier institute of Engineering in Kerala State in India. The college has about hundred experienced staff members.Our students are working in leading companies and research institutions in India and abroad. Well established infrastructural facilities, high academic standards, encouragement in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities all glued by an apolitical sense of discipline among the students, have firmly established our credentials in the fore front of professional education. College of Engineering Chengannur Facilities:

• Health Club & Yoga Center: The health club or gymnasium is accessible to the students from early in the morning till late in the evening. Regular yoga classes are conducted in the college for the students. It is fully well equipped with all the latest equipments, treadmill, and free weights.
• Internet Facility: The wireless connectivity in campus is equipped with sufficient indoor access points, through which WI-Fi internet connection is available inside the campus. The Campus gets connected to the World Wide Web through a High speed 24/27, 2Mbps, leased line from BSNL. All nodes are connected through structured cabling, using cat6 cable.
• Hostel Facilities: There are four hostels, one for boys and three for girls. All the hostels have a warden who is usually a faculty member, to supervise and to address any grievances.
• Sports: For the enthusiastic sport lovers of our college, we conduct an annual sports week in our college which involves both track and field events along with indoor games such as Chess and Caroms. There are special annual inter semester Football Competition , Badminton Competition, Throw ball Competition for girls, and an Inter-Collegiate Volleyball Championship.
• General Facilities: The college is fully well equipped with all the latest Audio Visual educational aids, separate Overhead Projectors, LCD projectors, Video Projectors for the Computer Science Department and the Electronics Department. Diesel Generators to power the whole college, Co-operative store which provides students with stationery and general provisions and provide a nourishing environment for students and staff.

Admission Details

B-Tech/M-Tech : Mode of admission:

• Admission to UG programs except in NRI seats is on the basis of the All Kerala Common Entrance Examination, conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Govt. of Kerala.
• 50% of seats are designated as free-ship seats for which fee at lower rate is collected and 35% is designated as full fee seats for which fee as proposed by the Fee Regulatory Committee is charged, with concession if any, approved by Government of Kerala.
• The remaining 15% seats are filled under NRI quota based on their marks at plus 12th basis.Separate Entrance Examination is conducted for such candidates.
• Diploma degree can get a Lateral entry to the second year engineering, under Lateral Entry Scheme as per Govt. directives.

The College of Engineering Chenagannur is located in Chengannur, a beautiful town in Kerala. Chengannur is situated at the extreme east part of Alappuzha district. The Main Central Road (popularly known as the M.C. Road) passes by the college. It is well connected to other cities by rail and road. Chengannur have both railway station and bus depot so there is no problem in transport or reaching here.
