CEE 5 Year LL.B Exam 2017

Commissioner for Entrance Examinations conducts the entrance examinations for admission to Five year LL.B Course in Kerala State. A candidate desirous of joining the Five year LL.B Course in any of the Govt. Law Colleges in the State will have to write the Entrance Examination. The admission to the course will be based on the rank of the candidate in the Entrance Examination.The Entrance Examination will be conducted on the date and time as notified by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations. The Entrance Examination shall be of three hours duration and will consist of 200 objective type questions in (a) General Knowledge (65 questions),(b) English (65 questions) and (c) Aptitude for Legal Studies(70 questions).

The rank list for admission to the course will be published based on the total marks secured by the candidates for the Entrance Examination.To qualify and thereby figure in the rank list for admission to Five Year LL.B Course, a general category candidate should get a minimum of 10% of total marks in the Entrance Examination and a candidate belonging to SC/ST category should get a minimum of 5% of total marks, the total marks being 600 in the Entrance Examination.

Eligibility For Integrated Five Year LL.B 2017

• Nativity– The candidate should be an Indian citizen. Certificate from a Village Officer or a competent authority to show that the candidate is a native of any State or Union Territory of India should be furnished in the prescribed format along with the application.
• Academic-Candidate seeking admission to the course should be a graduate in any faculty of any University in Kerala or of any other Universities, recognised by any of the Universities in Kerala as equivalent thereto.A candidate who has passed an examination in 10+2 Course of schooling recognised by the educational authority of the Central or State Government or possesses such academic qualifications which are considered equivalent to such 10+2 course by the Bar Council of India can also apply for admission to the course.Candidates who are appearing/ appeared for the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply for the Entrance Examination. Such candidates become eligible for admission only if they produce the Pass Certificate and Mark List of the qualifying examination at the time of admission.No candidate shall be admitted to the Course, unless he/she has passed the qualifying examination with a minimum of 45% marks. However, candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes need only 40% marks in the qualifying examination.
• Age– Applicants should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December 2012.There is no upper age limit.

How to Apply For Integrated Five Year LL.B Course 2017

Candidates seeking admission to the Course can apply online on the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations. While applying online, the candidate has to upload a recent passport size colour photograph in jpg format, with light background, of size less than 30kb and dimensions 150 (width) x 200 (height) in pixels.

Candidates should take printout of the online-submitted application and affix a recent passport size photograph, identical to the one uploaded, in the space provided and get it attested by a Gazetted Officer. This application along with the requisite documents should be forwarded to below addresss in A4 size envelope either by registered post/speed post/hand delivery, so as to reach the office before 5 pm on 28.06.2013 (Friday).
