Caritas College of Nursing Kottayam is a member of the Association of the Management of Self Financing Nursing Colleges of Kerala. The college is affiliated by the Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam and is recognized by Govt. of Kerala. It offers the Degree Course in B.Sc. Nursing and Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing.The Caritas College of Nursing started B.Sc. Nursing Programme in 2002 and Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing programme in 2005. The College is owned or managed by Caritas Hospital Trust that is belongs to the Catholic ArchDiocese of Kottayam.The Caritas College is declared a minority educational institution on 11th December 2007. The College and the Hospital along with the help of well-qualified staff provide excellent academic facilities and clinical experience. This College was started under the patronage of H.E. Caritas College of Nursing Admission Procedure
Eligibility for B.Sc Admission :
- Candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary Examination of the Board recognized by Mahatma Gandhi University with Physics, Chemistry & Biology as optionals with the minimum 50% aggregate marks
- Candidates belonging to SEBC (Socially and Educationally Backward Classes) with total annual family income up to Rs. 2.5 lakhs will have relaxation of 5% marks.
- The Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates in the State of Kerala need only a pass in the qualifying examination.
- Applicants should have 17 years of age on the 31st December 2008. No relaxation of the minimum age will be allowed.
