Shree Sankara Dental College was started in the Year of 2006 by Late, Sri S Ragavan,who was an eminent and accomplished personality Human being from Varkala. The college is affiliated to the Kerala University and Kerala University for Health sciences .The college is recognized and Approved by Dental Council of India (DCI) , New Delhi and the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare,Government of India. Shree Sankara Dental College is owned and managed by the S R Educational & Charitable Trust . The Trust was established in the Year of April 2004.The first academic session started in the year of 2005-06.The Trust Goals is to provide education quality by creation of a center of excellence academic for promoting studies in Kerala and also aims to serve society by providing better health care facilities as well.

Shree Sankara Dental College Admission Details

For BDS Admission:

• candidates who secure 50% marks in the medical entrance examination considered for admission into BDS courses.
• Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary examination with at least 50% marks aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
• SC/ST/SEBC Candidate who scored a minimum of 40% marks in the medical entrance examination considered for admission into BDS courses.
• Applicants should have completed 17 years of age on the 31st December of the year of admission to the course. No relaxation of the minimum age limit shall be made on any account.
  
• 50% Seats to fill by management quota , 35% of the total intake filled up through the rank list of Management Entrance Examination conducted by private college and 15% seats meant for NRIs Candidate.
