St.James College of pharmaceutical sciences was established in 2004 and has been got approved by the University of Calicut.The Government of India national Commission for minority educational institutions as per notification number F.No.23 of 2006 dated 24th may 2007pleased to declare this institution as a Minority Educational Institution covered under article 30 of the constitution of India.

• Libraray– There are 1971 books,and 30 Journals available in the library
• Laboratory– Pharmaceutical Chemistry (Inorganic,Physical & Biochemistry),Pharmaceutical Chemistry (Organic & Medicinal),Human Anatomy & Physiology,Pharmacognosy labs are there in the colleges.
• Computer Lab-Computer Lab with fully configured systems.All the 40 systems are connected in a LAN, in which 20 systems are connected with WAN for the internet access.
• Bank-South Indian Bank, St.James Hospital Extension counter offers all banking facilities for the staff and students.
• Hostel-Hostel facilities are available for both Boys and Girls. Hostel are so near the college, so that students will have the easy access to the College.
• Canteen-Canteen facility is available at reasonable rate for the non-residential individuals also.Students are not allowed to go to canteen during class hours.
• Transportation-Transportation facility is available for the students from south Chalakudy junction to College.
• Counselling of Students-In order to provide individual attention and guidance to students in academic and non-academic matters; counseling units will be functioning.A maximum no of 8 students will be allotted to each teacher and the students can obtain guidance and proper advice from that teacher.

St.James College of pharmaceutical sciences Admission Details

Candidates should have passed the higher secondary examinations of the Government of Kerala or any other course treated as equivalent thereto with Physics, Chemistry as compulsory subjects and Biology/Maths/Biotechnology or Computer Science as optional subjects. Candidates should have obtained a minimum of 50% marks for the optional subjects and 50% marks aggregate for all the 3 subjects put together. However candidates who have passed their qualifying examination from outside the state of Kerala shall produce the certificate of recognition and equivalency of qualifying examination from any one of the universities in Kerala. This should be furnished at the time of admission.
