College,Ottapalam is affiliated to the University of Calicut was born out of the dreams of the great visionary and social reformer, Bharata Kesari Sir.Mannath PadmanabhanIn February 2007 the college was accredited by NAAC with B++ status.At present the institution has a full fledged Grade I College with 12 Under Graduate course and 5 Post Graduate courses.The premised of the College consist mostly of donated from Smt.K.P.S.Menon and Sri. Vapala Sankaranarayana Menon.
