Infant Jesus Anglo Indian Higher Secondary School was established in 1940 by the late Bishop Jerome M. Fernandez, the former Bishop of Kollam. The school is situated in Tangasseri, which was a stronghold of western culture with a historical background of ancient Portuguese, Dutch and English settlements.The school is affiliated to CISCE.
It was started by the Anglo Indian community to educate their children. It was later opened to the public in and around Kollam. The school imparts education in English medium to LKG to Standard XII.The School offers all round personality development to the students and help them grow gracefully in the knowledge and understanding of themselves in relation to others and to God.
