The College was established in March 1993 under co-operative sector in the country. The College is affiliated to the University of Kannur and approved by the MCI. Academy of Medical Sciences Admission Procedure

• Candidates who have passed the Pre-degree Examination of the Universities in Kerala with Physics, Chemistry, Biology as optional subjects with not less than 50% marks in the optional subjects and 50% for Biology.
• Candidates who have passed the B.Sc. Degree Course with not less than 50% marks for the main and subsidiary subjects taken together.
• Applicants should have completed 17 years.No relaxation of the minimum age limit shall be made on any account.
• 50% Seats will be filled up by Gov Quota ,35% seats will be filled up by the Management Quota and 15% Seats are reserved for NRI candidates.
