Established in 2004 Mar Dioscorus College of Pharmacy is the flagship of the Charitable and Educational Society of the Thiruvananthapuram Orthodox Diocese (Reg. No. 977/91)and offers a four year B.Pharm Degree Course affiliated to Kerala University of Health Sciences, Thrissur.Visionaries in imparting quality education in the field of pharmacy the college also focuses on the total development of individuals in their field of expertise and prompting them to contribute to the overall development of the nation.

• Transportation-The college provides to and fro transportation from the college to the city center. The college hostels are well connected to college by college buses.
• Hostel-Excellent hostel facilities are provided by the College. Dedicated staff take care of the students. Mens hostel is situated at Palayam opposite to AKG center managed by MGOCSM of the Orthodox Church. Ladies hostel is situated in Kesavadasapuram managed by senior and able wardens.Food at moderate rate and neat rooms are provided to students.
• Library-The library has a good collection of latest edition books on each discipline from renowned authors prescribed by the authorities and more to promulgate the students to gain the extra knowledge other than through the curriculum.The library has also a collection of books on general knowledge, newspapers, periodicals and magazines.Question papers of previous exams and reprographic support are provided to students.
• Labs– For the practical instruction and analysis of the subject excellent laboratories are set up.The Human Anatomy and Physiology,Pharmaceutical Chemistry labs, Pharmaceutics, Pharmacognosy labs, Pharmacology and Computer labs are all made in accordance with the stipulations of the concerned authorities and maintained well with the help of dedicated and assigned lab staff
• Student empowerment Programmers– The college offers an excellent student empowerment wing managed by personalities with strong personal management skills. The students are urged to attend seminars conducted by different institutes and in-house debates.
• Anti- Ragging– The college has an anti-ragging committee consisting of representatives from police, local media, faculty members, parents, students and non-teaching staff.
• Sports and Arts– The college conducts Sports and Arts days every year and the winners are honored.

Admission Details

Candidates should have passed the higher secondary examinations of the Government of Kerala or any other course treated as equivalent thereto with Physics, Chemistry as compulsory subjects and Biology/Mathematics/Biotechnology or Computer Science as optional subjects. Candidates should have obtained a minimum of 50% marks for the optional subjects and 50% marks aggregate for all the 3 subjects put together.However candidates who have passed their qualifying examination from outside the state of Kerala shall produce the certificate of recognition and equivalency of qualifying examination from any one of the Universities of Kerala.

• 50% of the seats are reserved for the merit candidates.
• The applicants should have completed 17 years of age on 31 December of the year of application.The candidates must be citizens of India.
