Farook College is one of the largest residential Post Graduate Institution that is affiliated to the University of Calicut.Farook College Kozhikode was established as a first grade college in 1948 stands unique among the educational institutions of Kerala.The college are re-accredited at 'A' Grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). Admission Procedure:

For Aided Courses

• Students shall be admitted to the various courses on the basis of reserved seats such as 40% as general merit,20%as Community quota and 20% as SC /ST quota.
• 12th (Pre-Degree) or Degree mark list must be available at time of admission.
• Transfer Certificate from the school or college last attended.
• Original Degree Certificate must be present in the case of PG admission.
• NCC/NSS/Ex-Servicemen privileges or quota for physically handicapped, attach photocopies of Certificates from the competent authorities.

For Self Financing Course

• 50% seats are reserved for management quota and the remaining 50% seats are filled up from the list prepared by University.
• Students must be admitted to the various course on the basis of entrance examination.
• 12th (Pre-Degree) or Degree mark list must be carry.
• Transfer Certificate from the school or college last attended must be required.
• Two copies of stamp size photo of the student.
• Certificate of conduct from the Head of the institution last attended

Farook College Location:

The college is located on a lovely hillock 5 km from Feroke railway station and 16kms from the city of Calicut.The college which is 1.6 km from Chungam and 1 km from Calicut bypass near Azhinhilam, is at a distance of 16 km from the Calicut airport situated in Karipur.If one goes by road, one has to take diversion from Chungam on NH 17, a unction on the road connecting Kozhikode and Malappuram districts. The view from the hillock is beautiful and pleasant with miles of paddy fields, coconut groves and grassy slopes, with the River Chaliyar on one side.The entire campus that comprises the college, its hostels, the staff quarters and the sister concerns cover an area of 70 acres.
