CEE Dental Exam 2017



The admission to Post Graduate Dental (MDS) courses in the Dental Colleges / Institutions in the State for the academic Year 2015-16 will be on the basis of the Common Entrance Examination (PG Dental Entrance Examintation-2017) to be conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations(CEE), Government of Kerala. Applications are invited for the PG Dental 2017 CEE Kerala Entrance Examination for admission to MDS Courses for the year 2017 to the State Quota seats in the Government Dental Colleges at Thiruvananthapuram, Kozhikode and Kottayam  and to the 50% seats available in the Self Financing Dental colleges in Kerala.

PG Dental 2017 CEE Entrance Exam

All candidates, seeking admission to the MDS course shall have to appear for the entrance examination conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Examination, Kerala.All candidates shall have to qualify by securing minimum of 50% marks (40 % for SC/ST and SEBC candidates) in the Entrance Examination conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations, Kerala.The entrance examination will consist of one paper of 3 hours duration containing 200 Objective Type (Multiple Choice) Questions. There will be a single version for the question paper, which will be in the form of a booklet.

Criteria and Eligibility For PG Dental MDS 2017

Nativity– The candidate should be an Indian citizen. Certificate from a Village Officer or a competent authority to show that the candidate is a native of any State or Union Territory of India should be furnished in the prescribed format along with the application.

Academic Eligibility

  • Applicant should have passed the BDS degree from an approved Dental College and duly awarded by any one of the Universities in Kerala or duly recognized by the Government of India as equivalent there to under the Indian Dentists Act, 1948 and who has obtained permanent registration from the Kerala State Dental Council after passing the final BDS examination or its equivalent there to with eligibility for full Registration in Kerala State Dental Council in all respects. Applicants who have completed one year(12 months) Compulsory Rotating Resident Internship (CRRI) as per DCI regulations in an approved/recognized Dental College .

Age-The upper age limit for General Merit candidates shall be 45 years.

How to Apply For PG Dental MDS 2017

Application forms for admission to the MDS will be available in the official website of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, www.cee-kerala.org.

All candidates seeking admission to the MDS Courses – 2017 , Kerala can apply in the online application form in the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations and then remit the required fee at any branches of State Bank of Travancore using the bank chalan available with the printout of the online application.

Kerala PG Dental MDS 2017 Selection Process

All candidates including Service Quota candidates shall have to qualify the “ Post Graduate Dental (MDS) Entrance Examination,Kerala-2015” to be conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examination (CEE), Government of Kerala.The candidates who satisfy the eligibility conditions for Admission to MDS courses-2015 alone will be considered for admission to MDS Courses. The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations shall prepare and publish the Rank List and the Category Lists of SC, ST, SEBC and PD of General candidates who qualify in the Entrance Examination for allotment and admission under General quota seats .The CEE will forward a list of Service candidates who qualify in the Entrance Examination to the Director of Medical education. The selection of the Service Quota candidates shall be made from the Rank list furnished by the Director of Medical Education and approved by the Post Graduate Selection Committee.
