Ebenezer International Residential School [EIRS] was inaugurated by Mr. Stephen George (MLA) on June 10, 2002. The first classes commenced on June 12, 2002 with an enrollment of 200 students for the academic year 2002 - 2003.EIRS is an international school with high standards and offers admissions as a boarding school, with day scholar options.The school follows a curriculum, which Is in accordance with the specifications of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).EIRS has separate hostel facilities for boys and girls on campus. The hostels are outfitted with all modern amenities.

The Ebenezer International Residential School (EIRS) is managed by the Ebenezer Center for Higher Education Pvt. Ltd. , which is chaired by Dr. T.T. Thomas. Dr. Thomas is a highly successful and well respected businessman in Bahrain who has more than 13 years of school management experience. He is the Founder & Chairman of The New Indian School, Bahrain and the Director of Ali Bin Ebrahim Abdul A’al group’s Construction and Electrical Division.

Admissions Details

• The school is co-educational . Admission is open to pupils irrespective of caste or creed. The minimum age for admission to class one is 5 1/2 years as on 1st of June. Birth certificate from the panchayath/ muncipality should be produced at the time of admission.
• Pupils coming from other schools will have to produce a transfer certificate and the report card issued by the school last attended. In addition they will have to take up an entrance test in English, Mathematicsand G.K/ Science. Admission will be given to the student if found fit for based on the test.
